Harborside House

This recently remodeled kitchen is positively gourmet!
There are granite and stainless steel counters and top of the line appliances. The dishware and serving dishes are all white.
The pantry has a large sink, wood counters and lots of shelf space.

There are fans for all rooms,hardwood floors throughout with braided and hooked rugs.
The views from all the rooms, including the porch on the back of the house are lovely and enhanced by sailboats of all sizes passing by.

Harborside House has five lovely bedrooms.
There is one queen bed on the first floor. The second floor has one queen, one double and two other bedrooms with single beds.
There are two full bathrooms, one on each floor. There is a crow-footed bathtub on the second floor with magnificent view of fields and East Penobscot Bay.

Harborside House sleeps 10 guests.
Children and pets welcome.

Harborside House is situated in the village of Harborside on Cape Rosier in Brooksville,
site of the earliest local "rusticator" community built in the 19th century for city dwellers and others who wanted to summer in the countryside with the beautiful views of East Penobscot Bay.
Walking, biking, kayaking and swimming are all possible right on Cape Rosier and throughout the Blue Hill peninsula and Deer Isle. Enjoy boat excursions to see light houses, puffins and local islands where lobster bakes can be arranged.
Brooksville is known for organic farming produce, cheese, bakeries and shellfish.
There are many prize-winning restaurants and artists whose studios and local galleries are a pleasure to visit.
