Hackmatack Farm (Native American word for Larch/Tamarack Tree)
is a 150 year old farmhouse that has been thoroughly restored and freshly painted.
The 1½ acres of fertile farmland supports herb and kitchen veggie gardens, blueberries, fruit trees and prodigious flower beds,
all of which may be used by guests. A large mowed lawn offers space for ball games.
The farm is located on a road favored by walkers and bikers and there are public access boating areas nearby.
There are several ocean beaches for hearty swimmers and freshwater ponds for others.
The greater Blue Hill peninsula and Deer Isle are well-known for open artist studios and art galleries,
fabulous family-friendly hiking trails, boat excursions of all kinds, restaurants using local produce and so, so much more.

There are a three bedrooms.
The master bedroom offers a queen size bed. One guest room has a double bed and the other two twin beds.
There are two full baths, one on each floor.

Hackmatack Farm sleeps 6 guests.
Children and pets welcome.

This home features original wood floors, ceramic tiling and all new appliances.
There is plenty of cookware to prepare a wonderful meal to enjoy on the lovely dining room table.
The living spaces are bright and sunny. Lovely braided and hooked rugs adorn each room.
There is also a sofa bed in the front room on the ground floor.
