Blue Trilby

Blue Trilby Cottage is located in the heart of Blue Hill, one of Maine's most charming seaside villages.
The town bustles with activity in the summer and fall. There are many restaurants, art galleries and shops, as well as cultural activities that occur several times a week during the season. Kniesel Hall is a healthy walk up Pleasant Street where the cottage is located.
Colorful flower beds adorn the front of the cottage and the side lawn slopes down to a stream that one can admire from the back deck. Blue Hill also offers rocky shorelines that are peppered with lovely sandy coves and picturesque rocky inlets.

A complete renovation of the cottage was done in July 2009. The kitchen is fully equipped and has an open barn-ceiling .
The space opens onto the deck overlooking a gurgling brook that leads to the Bill Hill Harbor.

There are three charming bedrooms upstairs, two double rooms and one room with two single beds.
The sitting room has a sleeper sofa for visiting guests.
There is one full bath upstairs and a full bath located downstairs.

Blue Trilby sleeps 6 guests.

A sitting room with a television adjoins the living room via double glass doors. The entire space is designed to be open and airy so as to invite sunshine into this cheerful victorian cottage. Furnished with antiques and locally-sourced furniture, painted by area decorators and artists, Blue Trilby captivates while providing a comfortable place to spend a short or long-term stay.
