Leese House is nestled between Morgan’s Bay and Blue Hill Bay. This private family home is the ultimate destination for families big and small. The views are extraordinary, the house is relaxed and classic and is perfect for families who want to have the story book Maine experience.
Enjoy hiking up Blue Hill Mountain for a leisurely picnic, spend the day looking for sand dollars and star fish on one of the many islands or just relax in one of the Adirondack chairs listening to the kids play on the rocks and watching the occasional sailboat drift by.
Leese House is beautifully appointed throughout. All the bedrooms have fine linens and the bathrooms have thick Turkish towels. There is a lovely outdoor rain shower on the back porch.
When you feel like beaching it, simply walk with your basket about a half a mile down the road to Curtis Cove. At low tide the water is shallow and the sand is soft, making it a perfect playground for all ages.
Ten minutes from the house is the town of Blue Hill which has fabulous restaurants, great antiquing, as well as a few well known galleries.
