Toddy Pond Lodge is a 1400+ square-foot cottage located on the shore of Toddy Pond in Orland, Maine, just a few miles from the coast, and half way between the coastal towns of Camden and Bar Harbor. The Lodge is a rustic yet modern blend of old log construction and a newer shake shingle addition that features multiple skylights and beautiful views of the lake from nearly every room.
The first thing you notice when you enter the Lodge is the surrounding view of the lake! Sunsets are literally breath taking! The Lodge is very close to the water which can be accessed either via the small beach with sloping entry or by way of the dock with swim ladder.
In the fall of 2003, the gourmet kitchen was totally remodeled and doubled in size from the former kitchen. It features beautiful antiqued beadboard cabinets. These are ample and include pullout shelves and two lazysusans. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glassware, pots and pans. The dining room has a large table that will easily seat eight and overlooks the wraparound deck.
The living room features a large wood-burning fireplace, along with ample and very comfortable seating. Skylights and ceiling fans insure an extra measure of comfort and lightness. Pine and oak floors with area rugs add to the charm.
The fabulous large wrap-around deck overlooking the lake is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the beautiful panoramic views.
Toddy Pond Lodge shares the grounds with Little Red Cottage and Loon Cottage.
